DJ, remixer, engineer, and web developer isn't common in most, but for DJ G-Kidd, he not only embraces it, he accepts nothing less than perfection. Donned by many to be years ahead of his time, DJ G-Kidd takes this hype in stride, as he focuses solely on getting better and not so much on what could be. This humble, yet aggressively focused attitude all roots from a small 2 bedroom apartment in New Jersey that he has shared all his life with his mother and 3 siblings. This is the same 2 bedroom apartment which holds his home-built studio and his weekly practice sessions for 10 years now. After deejaying at local parties and events, he got his first break into the club scene courtesy of DJ E.M. At the age of 17, he was opening at major venues such as Club Roxy, Jay-Z's 40/40 Club, Club Avalon, and Club BLVD. In a short 7 years, DJ G-Kidd became the official DJ for Roc-A-Fella Records' own Memphis Bleek, the official DJ for Jay-Z's nephew Mel Carter, and a Cognac D'usse affiliate. G-Kidd holds a residency at Ultra Bar in New Jersey and Rosewood in New York City. He also deejays at the most exclusive venues in Miami during the Winter Music Conference, Atlantic City, Orlando, Las Vegas, and some of the hottest nightclubs in New York City including Tenjune & Greenhouse. He has released 3 major CDs that feature Top 40, Hip-hop, Pop & House Mashups, which are downloadable on iTunes or G-Kidd has also had bootlegs that have broken mainstream airwaves on NYC's 92.3FM and have been featured on and DJCity Record Pool. Stay tuned for more news, events and updates on DJ G-Kidd as he continues to make a name for himself in the music industry.
